Options for UNSW stranded students
It’s such a pity the UNSW has decided to close down in Singapore just 3 months after opening. This has shocked the academic field and the students who have gave up their places at NUS and NTU to study at UNSW here are the worst hit. At the moment, many of them are at a loss, not knowing what to do.
Not all of the students are offered scholarships to study in Australia and even those who are offered may not be able to make it due to personal or health reasons. And if they can’t get a place in the local university, then what other options do they have?
They can of course consider distant learning or even pursue online degrees with accredited universities. These are probably viable options given their unfortunate circumstances.
Let’s hope something can be done to help the students and that they won’t be left stranded and end up without a proper university education.
